OHIO DESERVES BETTER
And Laalitya is ready to fight District 56.
Hi! I’m Laalitya - I grew up in Ohio and I love this state.
We’re truly the “heart of it all” from our farms, amusement parks, nature and cities.

But Ohio, just like our country, is in crisis. Normal every day Ohioans are struggling to make ends meet; but our politicians aren’t doing anything to make this better.
Why is money going to a Browns stadium or towards undoing citizen-led initiatives? Instead, let's fully fund our public schools, support our farmers to reduce grocery prices and make sure every Ohioan can see a doctor when they need.
Let's make sure our politicians work FOR us instead of against us. Let’s build a Statehouse for Ohioans. Where politicians answer to those they represent.
Where our legislation is a tool to make sure Ohio becomes better. Let’s start problem-solving instead of problem-making

So here is to the greatest state in the nation.
Ohio, are you in?
I'm not taking any Corporate money because I don't want strings attached. This campaign is funded entirely by people like you. No corporate money. No special
interest dollars. Just Ohioans who are fighting for a better & stronger state
But campaigns take money - and I can't do this alone. Can you pitch in today to help us win back Ohio?
The Platform

Fully fund Public Schools
Our public schools are under attack - with reduced funding, bad teacher: student ratios, and rising property taxes to fund these schools
Our state isn't paying their fair share. We need to expand school funding, end school vouchers to keep $ in our public schools and create universal Pre-K for all of our kids.

Lower grocery & utility costs
Our grocery and electric bills keep going up. The reason? Grocery monopolies that don't support farmers and data centers being built.
Our State Legislature is bought out by corporate interests. We must make sure data centers & corporations pay their own bills - instead of putting that cost onto US.

We deserve healthcare
SW Ohio is home to the best medical care facilities in the country. But hardworking Ohioans are one medical emergency away from bankruptcy.
Insurance companies must publish denial rates and premiums. Drug prices should be capped by production cost to ensure fair profits and patient affordability.

End Corruption
Ohio's State Legislature just gave a $4,500,000 tax break to a data center that will create only 10 jobs - instead of towards our roads and schools.
Politicans are wasting your hard-earned tax dollars. We deserve politicans who want to solve OUR problems first. Your tax dollars, your say.
